1 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money   December 22, 2007

The flight models for the aircraft are completely unrealistic in every regard. As a pilot who flies a C152 at least once a week, I can tell you first hand that the C152 flight model in Flying Club X is completely ridiculous. It flies way faster than any real C152 I've been in; it 'crashes' in calm air from overstress well below Vne; the engine sounds more like a powered parachute engine and nothing like a C152; the trim behavior is totally unrealistic requiring full down trim for level flight; you can't slip the plane; the yoke gets in the way of being able to see the VSI in virtual cockpit mode; the autorun program doesn't even work - which will be your first indication that shoddy programming awaits you.

If you are the type of sim pilot who could care less about how real the planes behave, and only care about adding more 'pictures' to your airplane selection list, then by all means get this.

However if you care about sim realism even a little bit, then steer clear of this product - it will teach you nothing at all about flying the planes represented.

5 out of 5 stars Flight Sim Add-on evaluation   December 14, 2007

This is a British produced add-on software for the Microsoft Flight Simulators 2004 and X. It installed correctly and operates correctly which makes it comparable to any Microsoft product if not better. It is a smaller program than the main sim product which puts it in the $10.00 - 15.00 price range but it is worth paying $29.99 (as an imported item) for something as competent as this product.

4 out of 5 stars Good Product   November 11, 2007

Good product, considering that many of the aircraft types included I have flown myself, in real life.

However, I was not happy with the shipping. In big green letters, Amazon said that if one ordered next day shipping before a certain date, one would get it before the weekend. Well, it came a week later. Should have paid for the cheaper shipping option.
